Client has need for a custom extract from the Store Scale to export a .CSV file to the Online Delivery system.
Request: Client has Corporate Prices, but allows stores to make changes at the Scales as needed based on inventory, etc. With the pending rollout of their new Online Delivery System, it is important for the Online delivery to have the same costs as is in the Scales, not what is in Central. Is there a method to query the Scales on a recurring bases and send the results of that query in a CSV format over to the Online delivery system?
During my call, I explained that we did not have an existing tool for this purpose, but I suggested he let me run it by the design team to see if there was a process I was not aware of. Client agreed, but did state that he does not want to have a cost associated with this request.
Details: Hobart Family of Scales - Quantum, HTI, maybe Access Departments: 3 departments; Meat, Produce Bakery/Deli Go Live: this June, but he is working out the details now and will need a yes or no soon.
