The ability to use an API to initiate a network test for one or multiple scales would enable our automation teams to build an automated process for validating a scale is online and then completing a full device reload when a store calls with a pricing issue related to a prior network or power issue. We could automate our system to take the information give (store / scale (s) and complete a network check and then device reload for those items saving time for our support team.
