An API or an “import utility” to load an excel or csv file containing items to be added or updated would be greatly beneficial for generating batches and managing new product intake or many changes at once. The file would ideally have columns for at least PLU, Barcode, Description, and Extended Text; once uploaded the rest of the attributes would get set in the “Import Utility” including which sites to authorize and send to. True/False fields could also be mapped for on/off slider attributes. The utility would create a batch to add the items to FreshIQ and distribute to the sites authorized.
